hey Everyone
i have been reading the posts and very excited to contribute.
I am a new motorcycle rider and at the begining of purchasing my motorcycle, getting my gear and seeing many of you on the road.
I was very excited to pass my MSF course at the end of Sept. and i did very well for never riding a motorcycle!
I am from Metro Chicago and looking to buy a V Star 650 probably in Spring of 06 ( i gets a tad colder in Chicago during the winter). I am about 5'9 and about 210 lbs. I did ride a scooter for about 1 year in downtown Chicago and really learned the possible dangers of riding on the road.
Motorcycle riding is great and safety is always an issue, but w/ enough practice and luck, we'll all be able to ride longer and safer!
