Honda Rebel 250

My friend has an '86 Honda Rebel 250. We were just wondering if there were any kits or mods we can do to suck a little more power out of it. I kinda doubted it, but just wondering.

A friend of mine has a 250 rebel, and the engine looks very similar dimensionally to my 400. I wonder if it'd fit.
