Yamaha Virago question

#1 Unread post by paleoman »

Like a complete idiot I was trying to jump my 82 virago with my car and by accident connected the cables opposite on my bike's battery and it sparked so I pulled it off. Now my bike is has zero power and nothing works. Did I fry the battery or do something worse. It seems like all the fuses are ok but I didn't check the master fuse since it was getting too dark out. Any help would be great

I would say from past expierence that you shot the main fuse. If it did just replace fuse, should'nt have damaged anything else.
Live it like you mean it, this ain't no dress rehearsal!

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the main fuse and indeed it is blown, so going to replace that and hope it does the trick. I have never felt so stupid before!
