Since we dont know the speed limit, we can't say the biker was speeding. Some idiot who wasn't paying attention pulled right in front of the poor guy. I hope he survived to sue the pants off em!

I have seen a couple of threads lately containing motorcycle accident videos and I have not watched one.
Why would motorcyclists want to watch other riders crashing in the worst possible ways?

I don't think threads like this are started for sadistic reasons, but certainly for other riders to learn from the mistakes, or misfortunes of the fellow riders on video. As an example
Biker Gets Hit 2 - Maybe he was going too fast, but it didn't seem to me as if the car was rushing across the intersection....it appears the car didn't see the motorcyclist.
Lesson learned - Even when you're in plain view assume they dont see you.
Biker Gets Slammed - Not sure why this rider was using a cross walk and riding his bike in the pedestrian area, but he clearly has right of way.
Lesson learned - don't go until you know the oncoming traffic is stopping.
Biker gets owned by a car - The originator of this video put the description as
'Finally a biker gets it.. I'm sick of them swirving in front of my car ' Lesson learned - There are some complete idiots out there with no thought to the consideration or safety of others, and I'm not even talking about the video here!
Biker Collision - Lesson learned - Bikers can be idiots too...
Just because you don't watch them doen't mean they don't or might not happen.

Of this, I am fully aware. I have had enough accidents to learn some lessons, but it doesn't take seeing a video of a bike getting nailed by a car to realise it is wise to give way to them.
