The entire cruiser / poser trend with wide fat rubber has finally blown past the completely moronic barrier. It has a 360 wide rear tire...... WHY??????????

H_S... you gave some possible answers in iyour own question...

1 - moron
2 - poser

let's add some more...

3 - looks waaaaaay preferred over function (if you like that look)
4 - too much money and time on hands
5 - self-induced peer pressure to do something "radical" before anyone else
5 - it's a stereotypical 'substitute' thing
6 - it's HD, the owner is probably just trying to make his stand out from the herd

Or perhaps there is some solid functional reason that we just don't know. I'll bet he needs one of those batmobile roundtable things to turn around.

All in fun :P Different strokes, eh?

Just looks cool to me  Not something i'd ride everyday, but just now and then. A collectable kind of thing. I wouldn't mind being able to afford a collection of modded bikes, much less Harley's at that.

I'll agree with that. It's sorta cool to look at and see what people can do, but I have no urge to ride that thing.

I think it's Cool, but I'm wondering how it corners.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down.

Why not have a huge rear tire? It's not like you're going to need to turn ever or anything.

It seems this is the way things are going, look at the Suzuki M109

The new line of Ness bikes are featuring the larger tires too.

I'll be honest and say that I think some of the features on the Sportbikes are looking a little cartoony.

Now would I do this? Probably not. Would I own one if they gave it to me? Absolutely. It'd be fun to take it out for short local rides.
