I must say, I really like the look of that bike from the side. (I initially sorta wrote off Buells for some reason [actually really have no idea why])

Bloody thing goes "Like a Cut Snake"

Twist the throttle & ZOOM! Then I realize this is a Harley 1200 engine & I get even more impressed, very smooth power delivery & HEY! Why does the front wheel keep rising up from the black top like that!?

I owned a 2000 Buell cyclone for about six months...put three thousand miles...on that cycle. Man what torque...it has. Pretty amazing that it is a HD sportster motor...with a few different parts. That Ulysses....is different..I think they are trying to compete with BMW.

I went and sat on one two days ago. With the stock seat I can barely get it off the stand tip-toed. The guy told me they are going to release a new lower seat becasue of this complaint. I'm not a short guy, so I was quite surprised. The sales guys said, the bikes meant for riding, not stopping. I though "that's great until I have to stop and drop it on the ground". Anyway, I love the look of the bike. $1000 for the hard bags. At $13,000 I think they could throw in those hard bags. (I've seen the bike listed cheaper, but that was the tag on the bike at the dealer). I think I'll still end up on a Concours.

Not to worry. Like the sales guy said, it's not meant for stopping. Brakes are optional.

Well it's an on/off road bike!

They tend to have Fenders like that.

I know....it looks strange, but you do get used to the look eventually.
