This is Germany calling...

#1 Unread post by 60sRookie »

Hi there,

I'm Stefan(45) from Bonn, the former capital of GER and I'm here to look for Bikers and their communities (if there is one) especially in Ontario and Québec.
My girl-friend is Canadienne from Montéal and it seems to be that we'll come over from Germany to this area or Ottawa/Gatineau in summer '06.
This step I cannot do without my bike and therefore I try to to look for other bikers hopefully in this area.

But I'm also interested in knowing bikers from all over, because as a member in a german Board, which nearly looks like this, I'm used to meet people even when they are far away.

Since '93 my bike is a 1100W GSX-R Suzi and It takes me nearly through whole europe without any single problem, so it has earned to bring it overhere...

Ok - let's see what I will get...

Stefan

Heaven is a motorcycle, a million miles of road, and all eternity to ride.
Hell is the same scenario, but the bike won't start.

Stefan, I spent four years in Lahr (south of Karlsruhe and just east of Strasbourg) from 82-86 when I was with the Canadian Army. Had a great time in your country and still have many friends there today. I live 1 1/2 hours southwest of Ottawa, so let me know ahead of time when you'll be coming over for a visit and perhaps we can meet for a coffee.

Hi traveller2,

thanks for your fast support. I've send an E-mail to SoloSuzuki and perhaps he will answer me...

Hi Mike,

nice to hear that you like this part of Germany. And I like it too. A former girl-friend of mine still lives in Baden-Baden, which you probably know (the city I mean  ) and I liked peoples mentality there and the good meals, kitchen and food around and in the Elsass.

So, is it the reason for your nick "Gummiente"? :)
Very unusual to read this in an overseas-board...

Sure I will let you know, when we'll arrive and where(!) In this moment I have no idea...
But in the meantime we hopefully will meet here sometimes, hm?

Greetings to Ontario,
Stefan
