My poor bike is out in the parking lot in the pouring rain...looks like it'll rain all day. It'll be a fun drive home!
Anyone want to share tips for keeping bikey safe in rain? A cover? A tarp? Or just let it get wet.

Yeah, find an underground parking lot.

Just let it get wet, ride it home, and towel it off and you'll have a clean bike again. Bikes are made to operate in the rain and sitting in the rain is nothing compared to running down the interstate for hours in heavy rain.

When I lived in a wetter place (Melb. Aust) I used to have a car as a back up for week ends when it was wet, cold & windy.
But for weekdays, I rode to work in the Rain (Which sucked) & parked it in an underground carpark.
Now of course I live in the Desert where it hardly rains at all & is great riding all year round.
Snow is nice to Ski on etc. but I wouldn't want to live in it.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I just leave mine out to get rained on with no problems. I ride it through that stuff all the time and sitting is nothing compared to riding through it.

ditto to above - as long as you wash the salt off, bikes can handle a bit of water!
