DAMN. These bikes are so much cheaper south of the border that I'm tempted...... The Ducati Multistrada, you either love it or hate it. I'll take this one: :wink:

Are you sure it's cheaper? Have you factored in the exchange rate?

They list around $17,500 up here and there are no used ones..... Seeing as our buck is sitting somewhere around $.82 U.S. it is a smokin deal. Transporting it and paying duty are the challenge but there is a Duck club down east that has done it quite a few times. Here is a link to their story:

Wow! I just read the article. Is the price inflation unique to Ducatis, or are all bikes like that?

Mostly just the Ducks. A lack of dealers up here lets them name the price. Like Sevelturous in his thread about the 599 Honda, he can pick one up for $7500 Canadian for a left over 2004. That can't be much more than you would pay for one in U.S. dollars down there.....
