Christmas Presents

#1 Unread post by ZooTech »

Just wanted to post some pics of the PC I built for my 6yo daughter, Caitlyn. I found the case on NewEgg and painted the DVD-ROM drive to match. I bought the 17" Sony flatscreen off eBay for $60.00, new in the box, and painted it lavender and sage green. I got the desk and chair from Target (online only). I used the motherboard I just replaced in my computer and gave her my 80GB SATA drive so I could step up to a 250GB model. She also has wireless 802.11g internet access via a D-Link PCI wireless NIC I picked up off eBay for $30.00. The speakers are from Creative and actually sound really good despite their size. Anyway, she's with her mom for the day (Christian is, too) so I took the opportunity to assemble everything while she's gone. If she goes in her room tonight she'll get it early, and if not she'll get it in the morning.

Merry Christmas!!!
