Good motorcycle magazines?

Preferably sportbike magazines. I want something good, with product part, and biek reveiws (ect.) I DO NOT want a magazine of people who stunt and wheelie and trick out ther bike for show.

I'm currently subscribed to Rider. It's good for the most part, but they focus a bit too much on touring and cruisers for my tastes.

Anyway...anyone got any ideas?

RoadBike is a good one that has switched focus to 'Metrics.' They always have a good assortment of articles. Yeah, they always include a featured custom ride. Sometimes its a rat bike type or a tricked out sportbike, rather than a super chromed cruiser.

Also monthly product reviews of all sorts of stuff from tank bags to raingear.

Also try Sport Rider, and/or Cycle World.

You would probably like Sport Rider.

CW seems to mostly just feature megabuck italian bikes and cruisers anymore. Have seen a few too many choppers in there lately.

That's a tough one. I've been getting Motorcycle escape because it deals with touring and that's what I like doing best. i've already got the bikes I want (with the exception of a Ninja 250) and most magazines here lately haven't printed to much about my specific bikes. Good luck in your hunt.

Sport Rider is right up your alley, as has been mentioned. I'll also second the motion for picking up Roadbike as well as Motorcyclist as they have a fair amount of sportbike coverage (cruisers, too) along with a lot of bike info from how-to's to gear to industry trends to bike events, etc. I know for a fact Motorcyclist is actively changing it's focus away from the ultra high dollar machines that very few actually ride to a more realistic, everyman's approach (the editor currently rides the same bike I do and has sought feedback from the owner's association regarding the mag). Roadbike has always been that way for the most part.

Sport Rider also will have articles on riding techniques too.

Its not easy finding a MC magazine for those of us who like sportbikes.

If you are into cruises or choppers you have dozens to choose from but there are precious few for sportbike and touring enthusits.
