Unbe-freaking-lieveable video of a couple of Russian lads going bugnuts in their town, climbing up buildings and jumping across rooftops. Even when I was in shape and in the military there was no way I could pull off half the moves these guys make:

Those guys are in incredible shape to be able to pull that off. I would venture to guess that the one guy has to be a gymnast.

If I recall correctly I believe that's called streeting, or street running. These guys are impressive, but if you want to see something amazing look for the movie called borough 13. I know I spelled that wrong, but the opening sequence is one of the most amazing examples of this I've ever seen.

It
is called something like that. I read an article in my UTNE Reader about this troupe in Toronto that does this activity all the time. They carefully plot out their course and study the architecture of the buildings and such. They also need to be on the lookout for city officials because it is considered trespassing and all. I'm going to check out the movie you've listed - sounds cool. Let me see if I can find the article - hang on... okay, I couldn't find my magazine because, well frankly, I can't find anything in my house. Anyhow, it's called Parkour, and here's a little excerpt from the article that I found on the UTNE website...

Scaling the Skyline
Parkour mixes urban athleticism with an appreciation for architecture

Ferret sprints toward a railing overlooking a staircase in the concrete playground behind the College Park condominium and shopping complex in downtown Toronto. He vaults over the railing onto a landing about eight feet below, dropping into a squat as lightly as a cat. Then he leaps up, leans over the next railing, grasps its thin black bars to his chest, and in one fluid, breathtaking move leans forward and flips over onto the concrete another eight feet below. Without pausing for breath, he tears away as if pursued by rabid pit bulls.
I think it looks like a blast, and if I were 20 years younger, I might even give it a go.
Cheers,
Loonette

Well, with a name like that he'd HAVE to be pretty lithe.

Thanks for posting that, I wasn't aware this sort of thing was going on so close to where I live. I think my girlfriend (who has many friends in Toronto) might be able to get me a copy of that magazine.
