Hi, how's it going.

i have this Suzuki T-125 that is not in running condition, and i know its hard to tell without a photo, but i was wondering how much i should sell it for.

like i said it doesnt run, and i have no idea what would need to be done to it to make it run, other than possibly a magneto assy. and a coil or something of that nature.. i posted an add on craigslist locally and have had a bite or two on it, but i really dont know what to charge them for it..

i do know that they are hard to come by now, but the main reason for that is because they were "throw away" bikes even back then.. super cheap "get you into riding -pre- starter bike" bikes" and according to a few reviews i read on them that were written when they were new, people said they were "dangerous" because of a few different things..

who'd have ever thought a motorcycle would be "dangerous" but apparantly they were MORESO dangerous than other bikes because of their suspension and breaks.. or something to that effect...

regardless, they are collectable, so... i was wondering if anyone has experience in this field and could tell me what its worth!

i can send pics if it will help with the cause. basically it has rust, paint isnt good, its missing parts, needs to have other parts repaired, so lets say its "parts bike condition" for lack of better explanation, though it is more or less a complete bike in itself. i look forward to hearing peoples expert oppinions and thanks in advance

By the sounds of it....it may be worth very little.

Any young-uns in the family who are mechanically oriented & would like a bike project?

Perhaps you could give it away to a family member to rebuild?

They are "collectable" only in that someone somewhere had one as a kid and would spend too much to buy it. I'd give it to someone who likes to tinker, or get it going yourself.

In the condition you described, I value it at under 100.00 dollars American.

If all else fails, you could give it away.
