MSF frustration

ok i finished my first day in the class room no problem then i go out today and the instructer didnt teach the on bike stuff cuz it was too windy, ive been waiting soo long. its was just rescheduled for tommorow but man i still cant wait

i would have liked to ride at that scenario

it sounded like a good opportunity to teach how handle wind pressure while riding

haha i know thats exactly what i was thinking. if i could learn to ride in terrible weather im sure i would do good in good weather right

Could be worse, check my post. I got carted off in an ambulance with a dislocated elbow just before final evaluations were to start.

if it was windy enough to call it off then you probably would have dropped the bike. Not trying to insult you but if your just learning you want good weather cause it will be hard enough with no wind, add wind and its almost impossible for a n00b to learn.

Those little bikes act like a giant sail underneath you. With two wheels and only 150-200 lbs on top to hold them in place a bike at stop can actually be blown right out from underneath you. Unless you know what to expect.

yeah we finally did it. and i passed woo, whooo. now i gotta find a bike. looking forward to that
