Sound Good?

#1 Unread post by Chris8187 »

I found a 1995 ninja ex500 that is supposedly in excellent condition, will see the bike sometime this week. The guy said it runs great and that he replaced hoses, got carbs cleaned, and a new battery. He is only asking for $2200 and will get it to my house as long as I drive him back. The bike only has 1,950 miles, but most likely all city miles because he lives in Manhatten. I think it sounds like a really good deal. What do you guys think?

Sounds alright; but perhaps a bit low?

Arrange to have a mechanic look at the thing? perhaps you could meet at the shop, the mechanic can take a look and if all is well, do the transaction on the spot?

Have a mechanic look at it. If its good then yes it is a good deal. Assuming the bike has no damage from being dropped.

The bike looks nice. It has some scratches and stuff, but it is also 10yrs old. Everything runs like it is suppose to, so it looks like I'm getting my 1st bike :D
