how do you guys handle dips in the road?

assuming the dip is as wide as the road itself, so there's no way to swerve around it.

in a car, i go past them at 40mph and it's fine, just a little bump. but im worried about bikes, is there a chance that the front wheel can get caught if i take it the same speed as in a car?

Give it some gas, that lightens up the front end and you should go right over it.

Keep your eyes on the horizon, that will improve your balance and make you less likely to dump.

I try to stay away from dips in the roadway completely. Although they're hard to avoid sometimes, even the ones drivin' cages are a pain...
