Howdy from Kansas City, Patrick here. I happy to say I'm riding that great XS 850 special. Took a lot of work to get 'er going but shes going strong now and I love it. I post a few pics on my site: http://partoftheweb.com/yamaha.html
I also have another great bike that I enjoy. cx500 deluxe.
I look forward to contributing any knowledge I can. Work on both fairly well. Yamaha and Honda's. At anyrate its good to be part of this and I wish all a safe and wonderful NEW YEAR!

Welcome to TMW, this site has just about everything you need , but it never hurts to have another knowledgeable rider onboard...

Hey, KC;

I'm a newbie myself, from just west of Gardner, Kansas. From what I've seen here, this is one of the best (if not THE best) motorcycle forums I've seen - so far - and I've looked at a BUNCH of them.

Maybe we can get together for a ride, when the weather warms up a little.
