I recently bought this bike and it runs swell. As it is my first bike im new to the regular maintenece schedule. I have the bike in a garage in NJ and im leaving town for 7 weeks. I was told to put an additive in the gas and oil tanks but something tells me im going to need to do some more work to keep this beaut in tip[ top shape for my return. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch. Everything I need is right there. As far as oil and gas additives do you have a recomendation for product name and brand?

STP has a good fuel stabilizer, there's also STA-BIL http://www.goldeagle.com/sta-bil/

I don't use any oil additives. Just an oil (whatever is recommended for the bike) and filter change.
