My Bike is Stalling frequently!

I just got the carbs cleaned and jetted, but that hasn't solved the problem that I've been having. When I'm coming to a stop and I pull in the clutch, the RPMs drop so low that the bike often stalls. It idles fine when it's sitting and when I restart it. I tried revving it when it's in neutral sitting still too, and after I let off the throttle the RPMs drop extremely low and then come back up to idle speed.

What could the problem be. Suggestions I've heard are that the carbs need to be tuned, I need to make sure my air filter is clean (but I think it is), or that it could be due to the sparkplugs. Anyone have any ideas?

sounds like a carburetor problem. if its too rich, it could easily do that.

also, just remembered, i saw you had it jetted. did you upgrade the exhaust and/or intake? mainly the exhaust...because if you upgrade how much fuel youre getting, and the intake/exhaust has stayed the same...youre invariably going to be running rich. your next step is going to be to upgrade your exhaust to be more free flowing. you could probably do this easily by just buying some aftermarket mufflers, or if your stock muffler applies, some aftermarket baffles.

im assuming by "jetted" you went with bigger jets in your carburetor..thats what it sounds like based on the symptoms of your problem. good luck. 8)

I don't think that's the problem, because it happened before any work was done on the carbs. And it was running lean before the carbs were rejetted.
