Hello,
I want to buy a new motorcycle to travel across the europe with it (later i would ride it localy) so, i was wondering which model you would recommend to me. I want to buy Suzuki GSX-R 750 but i am not so sure about Suzuki brand. I have had a Kawasaki ZZR 1100 10 years ago and i can say all the best about it. I heard rummors that Suzuki is simply not comfortable for long distances. Is it true?
Also which model you can recommend in the same class (750)?

1st off , Welcome to the TMW Forums Kulrom .
My spousette and I both have Suzukis and we find them extremely comfortable . However they are cruisers and not sport bikes . For me , none of the sport bikes look comfortable nor very ergonomical to ride . Only my opinion from a personal perspective .

It's not the bike, it's the fit. London to rome is only 897 miles. You could do that on a 250 easy.

Yeah, I agree with this line of thinking. Just think about an aftermarket seat to go with it though, from what I've read. There is both 650 and 1000. DL650 and DL1000.

I don't get you guys ... is your advice to buy an used motorcycle rather but new?
I want to buy a new motorcycle from the store and i am asking about suggestion which model would best suit my needs.

Welcome to the Forums Kulrom.

There are many bikes & brands to choose from. How about visiting as many shops as you can & trying out a few for size & comfort?

Ultimately, it's going to be your choice of comfort, fit & style.

Get out there & see....It should be FUN!

Did I say "used"? Isn't the V-Strom available there as new?
If anything, I was implying that maybe a crotch rocket wasn't the best for touring and local running around.

No no bikeguy joe it is alright sorry if i made you feel like i am not satisfied by your answer.
CentralOzzy, your answer i like mostly ... as u said it will be my choice of comfort, fit & style and i will follow your advice. I will explore all the models that i think they suit my taste .. regard the price, comfort ans stuff.

You didn't. I actually thought about it for a minute and wondered if the V-Strom was available as new. You will ultimately pick the bike YOU want.
