hi again,

several people have told me to do something about my rear fender. you know... that xtra piece of plastic that has the plate number and other stuff.

it's easier to do it w/ my bike since my turn signals are not placed on it. and i can just put my plates on the lower part.

however, it doesn't bother me... my friend told me before to remove it to add style.

i just wanna know what your opinions are on this matter.

does it really make the bike look better w/o it?

well in that case then im really not gonna remove it. i don't want mud and water on my back.

if you decide to take the rear fender off take the front off also so the mud and water will be distributed evenly front and back.

taking the rear fender usually looks best when you also add an undertail at the same time.

there are also fenders that hug real close to the rear wheel and attach to the swingarm if you still want the deflection, and better looks than stock.

now which should i save up 1st...

mods or racing school

i bet mods will be cheaper than racing school but...

Personally I would save up for the track school.

Don't do it because other people think you should. I did it on my bike because mine looked more like a shovel than a rear fender. Pretty ridiculous. I like the look much better myself.

On that note, I ride through rain and snow on my bike and it will fling some up on you. I have a fender hugger though now, which I'm pretty sure is stock on your bike. It makes a big difference, but it still throws some up. But, I did notice even with the full fender in place it was doing it somewhat as well.

It will look more sporty with it off, but as I said, it sounds like you yourself don't want it too much, so why do it?
