I need some ideas for an essay im writing. I want to do it on motorcycles because they are something i enjoy.

Anyone have any ideas... anything would be greatful.

IF they are something you enjoy then write about why you enjoy them.

unfortunantly, it has to go a little deeper than that. I need to prove a point about an issue or something like that...

How about what size bike someone should start out on. Whether helmets are safer for riders or not. Insurance rates and whether sexist increases in prices for males is legal.

How about trying to persuade someone to buy your bike?

Or Persuade someone to buy a Cruser verses a Sports Bike.

How about trying to convence someone that a full face helmet is better than a "skull cap"?

Try to prove that cruser drivers have more tickets than sport bikers...

Try to prove that a sport bike is more dangerous than a cruser (which I dont believe).

These are just a few topics I can think of about motorcycles that might be intresting to research. Let me know if you need more.

Easy, just talk about common misconceptions with bikes and bikers.

Nice, broad subject, easily divided into paragraphs, and not too hard to do.

Examples could be that motorcycles are a quick way to your coffin.

How one doesn't need a helmet (then throw like a mango at speed at some concrete and do the "This is your head" type thing that that chick did on that anti-drug commercial.

Take a motorcycle ride across town or across the country and use your experience to argue either for or against the safetly of motorcycles as a normal mode of transportation.

how about trying to prove an argument that can be proven and isnt a matter of opinoin. Prove that bikes are cheaper then cars. They cost less, they insurance is cheaper and the MPG is amazing

Thats a good one...maybe you can find crash statistics for bikes and cars, and some statistics on how many miles people drive bikes vs cars, to normalize that data to see how many cars vs bikes are involved in crashes per miles driven. I'd like to see that myself.
