I ride a Suzuki Boulevard M50 through the highways and byways of Oregon. It's my first bike and I have it for almost a year. I'm always interested in hearing from other riders, being a Noo Be and all. I got my MSF course behind me (through Team Oregon) before I
bought the bike. The course was a blast. I learned on a little Suzuki 125 that I was way too big for. oh well...I passed. I've already dumped my bike and me along with it. I was OK ... and the most important thing was that I had no scratches on the bike even if I got a sprained ankle.

im due for the MSF this coming feb 18. i can't wait to be able to bring my bike regularly even at night. i'll still stay away from freeways until i get more experience.

im a suzuki fanboy... when i went to buy a bike, the dealer told me i could get any bike i want, but i said i only want a suzuki.

err, i meant when he checked my credit.

i dunno how serious he is though, since there are ducati bikes on the showroom, which i know are very expensive, but it doesn't matter since im not really interested in other brands.

Hey JWF 505; its the story of my Off-Road Adventures!

I dumped the bike by being caught off-guard when this country road all of a sudden took a sharp 90 degree left turn, I was'nt ready for it, had'nt slowed down and so off I went into the grassy field which was somebody's front yard . I kept the bike upright, and slowed going over some pretty bumpy field grass where somebody had goats nearby. I was slowing and had shifted down and was bringing the bike to the road when I got into a gravel driveway and the more gravel alongside the road... that's when I went down. The bike did'nt get any scratches 'cause the bike landed on me... mostly my leg (bike weight about 545 lbs). Never fear! a riding partner lifted the bike off me and I was able to complete the ride and we got to the Lewis River (Clark County - Washington State), where I was able to soak my ankle in very cold river water, did'nt help that much because the next day my ankle was way swollen. but no bike scratches on my bABY ! What I found out was that my cruiser is an off-road bike too! Is that excellent or what?

ouch

when i dropped my bike, my ankle was hurt but not bad enough to stop riding. only after a few hours have i felt the full pain whic was good since i was already back home.

my bike got very little dmg since i have frame sliders and i was moving less than 5mph... i just lost my balance. :frusty:
