Well i drove my friends 01 GSXR 750 and well i LOVED it but they are out of my range im lookin for a used bike with a modern look doesnt have to be as fast as that but something different, all i got right now is $2000

i was lookin at some gs500f. does any1 have specs on it, like 1/4 mile, top speed and all that?

that doesn't have ¼ mile but it has info on top speed, hp, and torque

if you can get a descent bike for 2 grand, way to go....if not, you can finance it...i financed my ex500 with HSBC....they have a seperate department called "motorcycle insurance"

P.S. keep in mind that it's not a very good idea to finance it, at least i don't think it is, since it'll be your 1st bike.......just keep in mind that you can finance it (if you can't find a bike under $2,000.)

ya the problem with financing it is you have to shell out the cash for comprehensive insurance and good chance you may lose money on intrest and what not.

I think there's a chart that GSJack has with a year by year performance stat list thingy. i think it went from 97 to a couple of years ago.

I think there's a chart that GSJack has with a year by year performance stat list thingy. i think it went from 97 to a couple of years ago.

It's lists the data from all the bike magazine road tests I've found from the first 89 GS500E to the most recent GS500F tests. Where the data came from a comparo between the GS500 and the EX/Ninja 500, I included the EX data too.
