There like, a website that details every part of the motorcycle?

Like I hear people talking about forks and I haven't a clue what those are. I'm fairly certain they are part of the suspension system and on the front wheel, towards the bottom, near the brakes. One for each side of the wheel.


But I'm not sure, and i don't like to not be sure of something. So is there a site that can detail all that for me?

Yah I knew about that. Just didn't think to look in there.

But I mean, not just the forks. Like a diagram of the bike in general. Like where the engine is, where the oil reservoir is, where the head light fluid goes, that kind of stuff.

Hmmm..."head light fluid"?

Ok...are you talking about ANY bike? or YOUR bike? Your bike should have an owner's manual that that will detail all of these things. Or if you don't have an owners manual you should try to purchase a "shop manual" for your bike or whatever bike. Shop manuals have exploded views of everything.

they dont use headlight fluid its blinker fluid rs134 for the right and ls133 for the left on my bike may be different for yours. dont know your bike. brake pedal pressure adjust is just to the rear of your right knee. clutch pressure adjust is just above your left wrist. so on and so on.

I just mean a motorcycle in general. The parts are surely around the same area for each model, right? (*hear's the sound of thousands of motorcycle mechanics laughing at the same time*)


I don't own a bike, yet. I did have a job interview earlier today so hopefully I'll be able to strengthen my financial reservoirs and purchase a bike in the near future.

But I don't know where all this stuff is on the car. I'm like a woman when it comes to cars. I can check the oil, check windshield washer fluid, check my battery, and look under the hood while pretending to know what I'm doing.

I'd like to know, partially, what I'm doing on a bike, though. Even if it's just basic stuff. Thus why I want the diagram so that later when I'm reading the manuals on fixing a bike I can be like "oh yes, that part is (here), let me fix that real quick" and feel manly about changing out my brake fluid, or something...

I dont know about where you are but here you can just go pick up a motorcycle drivers manual and in the front there is a diagram of your basic bike. if that is what you want

I'm in Texas and I have my MOM (Motorcycle Operater's Manual; not to be confused with the Motorcycle Owner's Manual which I'm thinking about buying) but I've already leafed through it for a diagram.
