1st time hitting 65mph...

so my friend told me of this big road that isn't very busy and has a speed limit of 50mph. it has curves but not very sharp and it even has uphill downhill portions. did a couple of runs over there today. i'll definitely go back there some other day. it was fun.
however, kinda scary since the wind was definitely stronger than usual. i can really feel the bike being pushed on one side so im leaning to counter the wind. and also, im already leaning forward against the tank bec of the wind pressure.
im definitely improving. im a lot more relaxed on my bike so my arms doesn't hurt like before. i also feel like my gear changing from 1st-2nd has improved a little. however, im still not 100% comfortable w/ my boots. it still sometimes gives me trouble shifting up.
on my way back home, there's another sportsbike rider on the other side of the street, he extended diagonally his left arm when he saw me. was the rider just waving? or does that gesture mean something?
weeks ago, somebody did that to me but it was bec my turn signals are on and i forgot to turn it off. however, my signals were not on this time and i was stopping for a red light.
