Brought the new 05 Shadow Spirit home today

Had to trailer it home, but before I did, was 45 degrees and the roads were dry enough to take a ride. It hadles like a dream, very resposive handling. I came back with a big smile.

Had one mile, added 25 as you can see in one of the pics 8)

After 20 years of not riding, i was a tiny bit woblly on take off, but otherwise was like i had riden yesterday. Didn;t even stall, though i am still getting used to the gears. :D

a tad dark in my garge will get some better pics when the sun comes back out.

a month and half and hopefully will be riding heren central New York.

Congrats...sharp looking bike! How you can have the patience waiting to ride it is beyond me.........

Absolutely, except for....

Old deaf and blind seniors only just managing to peek over the steering wheel.

Rainstorms at a moments notice

Hurricanes

Hotter than heck from about May to September. You swear your right leg is forming blisters from the engines heat when stopped at a traffic light. And sweat......its only outdoor events for bikers in the summer here.

NO hills.

Bugs the size of cows.

But apart from that....yeah...paradise :wink:

Nice looking bike. I love Honda's, they seem more solid to me than alot of other bikes.

when i was loading up my bike they were preping a new Mean Streak that was just sold :)

i picked up one of these body armour jackets today, and plan to get the pants to match

Got the jaclet for $99, made by Rver Road, made of the new mesh, has all the padding and a removable liner.

thanks, yes, problly start with saddle bags and a quick detactable windshield. highway bars, i saw a set that will go on with the radiator.
