78 suz. gs1000L not firing

i bought a 78 suz they told me the dyna ignition box was missing but the dyna style was a dyna s that does not use a box. but upon inspection i found that the dyna was in tact and the wires all hooked to it were good . but now i am not getting power to the starter. for the life of me i can not find the culprate and the bike will continue to sit until i can figure it out.
