Hey I am realizing most of you are from Canada so I read an article on the atlantic motorsports park in nova scotia i would like to know if you guys have heard of it? I also read they are having a TT race in Nova Sxcotia this year that would be great. Anyway I could probably make up ther in 16 hours or so and if its worth it I will seriusly think about it.

I was pretty pumped about the TT race at first. Then I heard that this year it won't be a race, but an organized road ride open to the public. Supposedly, they will then gauge public reaction and support and go ahead from there.

But I think it might be a moot point. Once the Canadian Government realizes exactly what a TT race is, they won't allow it to happen..... :?

Unless we can convince the wife of our new Prime Minister to participate.

In my humble opinion, I think the Isle of Man TT is nearing the end of its shelf life and NS is on the cards to replace it. This is why there will be an overlap and also why the Isle of Mann TT bods are having an input. A few riders have already been out and riden the proposed NS course.
Just an opinion.

It does look like they are going to run the races, cool. This would be the year to go, it may be the only year.....

Unless Gummi is right and our new PM's Missus whispers the right things in his ear..... let's hope..... 8)

I would like to tour the Maritimes and be able to attend such a race one year. The area is sposed to be very pretty and, all Newfie jokes aside, the people are genuinely friendly and good humored. I can't do it this summer, but maybe next......

That just makes me want to take the trip even more. Nice write-up. Nice trip.

The only part I dread is the 1500-2000 km(or whatever it is) run across the prairies on both ends of that trip, now that's boring..... Really takes alot of the shine off the whole deal, but that slog is there on any trip to someplace nicer..... just something you have to put up with.

Would love to take a month and tour a lot more of the East, but not till the wife gets her own set of wheels. I ain't dragging her tail around the country on the back of mine....

Looks like some incredible scenery there. Hmm, could make for an interesting trip. Even if I have about another 1000km or so longer ride than Buzz (im a good 600miles south of the Canadian border).

Would definately need a better bike for a trip like that though.
