The quote in the story says they were "driving like idiots", and maybe they were, but what about the insensitivity of the cagers who would rather bump their way through the pile of bodies than be late for the ferry. I hope the second guy pulls through okay.

It really doesn't surprise me that people didn't stop. It's not just a Southern California/Big City thing anymore. People are just more and more selfish than ever before....
