i see this ad for a 1996 ninja 500 ... 12k miles for $1700. is that a deal? it has new tires and runs well (so the guy says). is it worth checking out?

i'm kind of afraid the 500 might be too big for me because i'm only 5'4" and maybe 100 pounds?
it's kind of far from my place so i dont want to waste his time and mine if it would be impossible for me to ride it! thanks!

Go to a local dealer and sit on a new Ninja 500 and see how it feels.

And if you feel comfortable sitting on it grab a mechanic (friend or one from the shop or somewhere else. Offer them some money or a case of beer and away you go) and take them with you to inspect the bike. If they say it looks good then definately buy it, cause that sounds like a good deal.
