Buying a new (or 2nd hand) harley FLSTCI: What to look out 4

Hi all:
Looking for a bit of advice from the "real" world.
What problems should I be on the look out in a '03 FLSTCI ? or similiar?
2nd hand or new?
Oil leaks? weird noises? clunks etc etc .
Or should I just save me $$ and get a Honda VTX1300C?

Any advise is welcome (but be nice).

Don't know of any outstanding issues with that bike. Best thing to do is try it (and others) on for size and, if you're fortunate enough to have a trusting dealership, take one for a spin.
