Hi all! I'm from Canada but living now in Nashville, TN. Bought my first bike (a 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe) this past December and, for the first time in my life, the first thing I do every morning now is check the weather forecast. :)

Looking for riding buddies, rallies, events, gadgets, gear, advice, ideas....well...just about everything to know about bikes and riding, I want to learn! :)

Welcome ShawnKing, thats a nice bike you got! I am from Canada as well but still here! Would like to hit a warmer location but roots are to deep here. Enjoy your new ride. Ride safe.

Thanks! I rented a bunch of bikes to see what style I wanted and, when we went in to buy, we got a great deal on *exactly* the bike we wanted.
Enjoy your new ride. Ride safe.
Thanks and always! What do you ride up there in the frozen tundra of Winnipeg? :)

This is my "fun" ride. Just sold my cruiser but may look for another for the longer trips. Hope this link works.

Must be really "fun" with no front brake cable.

Seriously, though, looks like a cool scoot. But I'd rather ride the Drifter cuz I could never get used to that right-side shifter.

Well I am in the process of swapping over to disc, the mini drum had no braking power at all!

I just sold the Drifter, kind of a neat bike but real funky to ride.

As far as the right side shift goes........"Right is right"! lol Totally used to it from years of 60's ironhead chops.
