D&D mufflers: Exhaust gas sensor modification

D&D mufflers: Exhaust gas sensor modification
Has anyone put a D&D muffler on their bike, and did the exhaust gas sensor modification? I have an '02 F4I, and I am not to sure if the previous owner did the modification, and if he didn't would it cause the bike to run bad?
