Hey there everyone, I hope ya'all are having a great day and if you are in a warm climate enjoying it and getting out and hitting the pavement.
I actually have a question for ya'all.
Lets say you want to go on a motorcycle tour, what is it that you would look for, in the compnay as well as in the ride? What is the most important aspect of the trip for you? And last of all what would you be looking for in the web site?
I don't want any of you to think I am trying to sell anything I am just curious as to what other riders look for when shopping for a trip. Thanx a million and have a great day!

I am actually looking at going to New Zealand next January for a 21 day tour. Asides from Europe, New Zealand has it all for me. Plus the tour operator uses BMW's which I am looking forward to.

Scenery, Bikes, Accommadations and Tour operators reputation. Plus overall value I place on the trip. That's what I look for.

Taking in one of the new Ayres Adventures New Zealand tours?

One of the members of the motorcycle club I belong to went down to Brazil on one of the Ayres Adventures tours and had an absolutely wonderful time.

According to Tim, he had to pay for his own fuel, so that's something to watch for.

Check the new issue of Motorcyclist. They have an article on a tour of china that they did. I believe Edelweiss was the company they went through. Edelweiss is supposed to be one of the largest motorcycle tour operators in the world and have tours available all over the world. They did their china tour on BMWs

Im sure there are many more tour operators out there but that one springs to mind thanks to that article.

Anywhere in particular you are wanting to go?

Honestly? I wouldn't be looking for a company. No offense, but it's hard to top the fun of loading up your bike and exploring the backroads of this country on your own.

I see that and see my idea of heaven.

I would really really really love to do that (in fact, I have it planned after I've been riding for a while and get my whole work schedule figured out).
As far as company is concerned; If I could go with my best friends (being my fiancee, and two of my buddies), that would be great! We would all pretty much be into the same level of exploring, and all have about the same level of skill.


Man I can't wait until I have quite a bit more experience under my belt...better get out there!
