Last night was my first ride off the block. We actually went on the freeway the first time. Steve said it sounded like he was riding with a monkey. I was so nevous it was, "Ah, ah, ah, eee, eee, eee" the entire four mile stretch. Hwy 99 has lots of great big diesel trucks and angry suv drivers. We went to a little bar out in the country side called the Olde Towne Saloon. Each week they have a Taco Tuesday special. Each week we roll in about 7:30P for tacos. Only this time I was riding. Had a big crowd at the window greeting me. Everybody knew Steve and his buddies were building me a ride. I had a great time I'm going for another short ride tonight. I plan on riding to tonight's bike night in downtown Modesto. Okay, I'm hooked. I'm sold. I'm addicted.

Is highway 99 as crazy down there as it is a few hundred miles north? Man, I'm plotting all I can to avoid that.
