Bring my spokes back to life - Autosol?

#1 Unread post by cb360 »

Hey there. This is my first post so take it easy on me! I just picked up a 1974 honda cb360. It was in fantastic shape. Only 1400 miles and garage kept it's whole life. The only things that look a little dingy are the rear shocks which I can handle, and the original spokes. The spokes are very dingy even after cleaning and I'm wondering if anyone has had success restoring spokes. Would autosol work? Thanks in advance.

Hey! Welcome! I would think that Autosol would work great. I've used other metal polishes for spokes and they really shine up nice.
Let me get this straight... it's one down and four up, right?

Cool. Thanks. I couldn't find autosol anywhere in seattle so I had to order it online. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Ok then - a little autosol, a little steel wool, a lot of time...
