Honda has the RCV211V which is a V-5 990cc four stroke. It was initially the most dominant bike in Moto-Gp until they lost Rossi....
Yamaha has the M-1. It an inline 4 fourstroke. Rossi rides it, so it wins...
Ducati has the Desmocedici V-4 4 stroke. They intially had it configured to fire like a twin but then went to a more conventional firing order. Recently they have returned to the twin-fire configuration.
Kawasaki has the the ZX-RR inline 4 s-stroke. They have one of the most talented riders in Nakano. I would love to see him pull off a win.
Team Roberts has the KR211V. This year Honda wil be supplying them with motors so they just might get in to the hunt.
Blata, they come in lat every race so what does it matter

regarding the latest Cycle World (April 2006) issue... even better than "they" testing it, the test "journalist" is actually Randy Mamola... if you don't know who Randy is than you missed some awesome GP racing in the 1980s and 1990s. Randy was wild like Schwantz, Haga, Gobert, etc...
They got some great photos of him showcasing his kick-a-- style and playing for the cameras. Man the guy is still so smokin fast and his test laps on each bike were limited to only a couple laps.
