carb help please

ok I have one for you at full throttle it spuders like it is missing ? it runs good down low but when I hamer it it dose that tell me what you think?

Assuming your riding a carbed bike, running good down low and sputtering wide open is usually an indication of fuel starvation. First, check the obvious stuff, like making sure there is no obstruction of the fuel flow from the tank (i.e. pinched line, clogged filter, etc...). If you got a good flow from the tank, then check the float levels in the carb. Most bikes are very sensititive to the float level and you need to get it within spec. Lastly, if you've modified the intake or exhaust system, your stock jetting could be too lean. You'd have to change out the jets for ones that are more suitable. A type club would probably be your best source of info for proper jet sizes for intake and exhaust mods.

thank you flynrider it sounds like a good place to start it does have a lot of mods and yes it is a carbed bike lol.. what is it it is a 88 kat with a 92 GSX-r 1127 in it thes carbs are new 41mm and I have been working on them for just a shot time.. any more ideas are welcom and by the way it died to day and would not start again but only a one mile push home

ok I have good fule flow flots are right hight now the damn thing wont run, it will for a minute with the choke pulled. then after that it wont at all HELP ME !!
