my car is considered a total wreck!
so i took my car today since there's a chance it would rain and i don't wanna ride in the rain again like i did yesterday. it sucked!
and also, i took it to the bodyshop for an estimate for the claim i made to the other drivers' insurance.
they said it's a total... im not surprised since it's old.
this better work on my favor. and if i do get money, im thinking of buying an old but reliable pickup truck that i can use to haul my bike.
but i haven't done my reseach yet so i dunno how feasible and affordable it is to find and buy an old but reliable truck that can haul my bike when i get to have trackdays.
anyway... good luck to me.

I would recommend a smaller 2wd truck like a ranger, S10, or toyota pickup.
Look at an extended cab (not the 4 door crew cabs) for some more room. These have a 6 foot bed which is enough to carry a bike.
The smaller truck will be better on gas and easier to drive in LA traffic. Try to get a v6 instead of a 4 cylinder, gas milage is about the same as the 4 banger but has more power.

People who are trying to load bikes into the back of trucks!!!!
Oh P-U-L-E-Z-Z-Z, video tape that for me!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Just have a friend back the truck up REAL fast then slam on the brakes. The second the back tire comes clear of the truck bed you GUN it and have your friend throw it into 1st and floor it, he goes left, you go right... and OH MAN, make sure you have the camera.

What 'you don't think' can bite you in the azz. Or bust you jaw on the tailgate when the front end drops off the ramp. Wait till you see how thin any ramp starts looking when your halfway up it.VermilionX wrote:

Don't 'you think' these 2 things are just a tiny bit related?VermilionX wrote: getting it down though... i dunno how i can do it, i dunno if i can balance my bike going in reverse.

Keep that scarf handy, it'll make a good make-shift sling.

No Witnesses....
