Selling them on e-bay $120 American for 1 footpeg, without a matching non-detachable for the other side. If you want matching footpegs you need to shell out $240 for a pair of the wheel locks. I was rather perterbed when I found this out.

I'm gonna assume this is the footpeg-is-a-wheel-lock ad. Seems a bit pricey to me, I'd rather just buy one of those elastic bands that hooks around your lever and disc lock, so you'll remember it the moment you try to pull in the clutch or brake.

Better yet, in my opinion, is a lever-lock. Obvious it's there, hard to ride a bike without a clutch, front brake or both!

I just need to work on the whole "having a bike worth stealing" thing, now...

I'll come steal your bike for you if it'll make you feel better.

As for the video, sure looks like a lot to do to secure your bike. But I guess it's an investment. $120 + 3 minutes of your time everytime you get off/on the bike vs. $worth of bike + however much time you spend getting pissed at insurance companies and the like.

Erm, not quite what I was looking for. :)

For $30 you can get the same thing that doesn't work as a footpeg, for $2 you can get a little yellow stretchy plastic elastic thing that you can stretch from the lock to your throttle. Does the same thing, and doesn't require mismatched pegs.

Heck a lot of those disc locks have the stretchy thingy already.

I need a bike worth stealing before I get a disc lock
