BMW to offer high performance and budget motorcycle lineup?
There are a couple of rumors floating around about future BMW motorcycles. BMW may start to offer higher higher performance variants of some of their models. These would feature lighter chassis and tuned, higher output engines.
The second rumor is about a 800cc paralell twin budget BMW motorcycle. BMW would be in the fast lane in product developemtn with these additional models and their recently announced re-designed Boxer-engined R models.
Is BMW trying to compete directly with Japanese performance bikes? BMW offers a high performance cars lineup, why not a higher performance BMW motorcycle lineup as well...
