Hello, I'm new to this site as of today. I've got a question. Picked up a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90T last summer and I've notices there seems to be too much back pressure. I'm considering an aftermarket exhaust. I really don't want it too loud. I know you are saying to yourself that it couldn't be too loud. but I have to please my better half as well. I'm sure that the power band would be more noticeable with a AF exhaust. Does anyone have any recommendations. Thanks

You could debaffle the stock pipes, barring the existance of a catalytic converter. There's a video floating around showing step-by-step how to debaffle the C50's pipes, and yours may be similar.

If aftermarket pipes are what you decide on, the best thing to do is join a forum of your peers (fellow C90 riders). Most pipe makers don't offer sound clips of their pipes despite the fact that the sound varies greatly from one set to another.

*edit*

Here's the video:

Welcome to the Forums Life's Too Short .
I have Jardine's on my Suzuki and my Spousette has Cobra pipes on hers . Mine are louder and hers seems to have a more bass quality .

I think the C90 is the old Intruder 1500, right? There's a Marauder Intruder Group forum, you might ask there. URL: http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/main.a ... ig%2Fstart
