88 Honda Shadow 600

Found one of these for sale locally. Been garage kept, but has not be rode regular in about 2-3 years. Around 14,000 miles. Asking $1000. I have not seen the bike yet. I do know this guy and would expect the bike to be in good condition. Waiting for my brother to come back from Daytona this weekend so he can go look at it with me.
Any comments concerning this bike? Price sounds pretty dang good if it's in decent shape. Would expect to put some money back in it.
