new zero g dbl bubble windscreen...
rear fender, front tire reflector, and all warning labels removed...
also, i put a tape over my gear indicator and speedo for a couple of days now for training purposes.
i had this bad habit of always checking my gauges that i have when driving and carried over to riding.
so covering them will help me get rid of that bad habit and just pay more attention to the road.

thanks. i really like Aya's new look.
im saving money for an exhaust upgrade. but for now... i like the stealthy sound of my bike. it doesn't attract too much attention from cops ...not that im always speeding mind you.
i just ordered the teknic violator. newenough said it's cool that i return it if it's too loose for me. i ordered a size 40. so yeah, need to save up again for a new exhaust.
my mechanic said to just get a slip on since most power gains will come from it anyway. he said it's not gonna be worth it to buy a full sys unless im racing.

so, how's the double bubble feel at speed? Looks good.

couldn't test it yet... as you can see from the pics, it was raining here and even hailing at some point. i let hailing pass before i went home from the shop tough. i didn't wanna ride through hail.
but i still had to ride home in the rain again and i chose to take side-streets instead of the freeway.
anyway... tomorrow's forecast says it'll be mostly sunny so i'll test it tomorrow on my way to hawkster's skillzday down on irvine.
im sure it'll work fine for me since im lean and slim and i can tuck and hide behind the new screen.
on the OEM screen, even at full tuck, the upper part of my helmet still gets major headwind drag.
im sure this new screen will create wonders for me.

That's a bit misleading. Power gains from a full system typically are huge compared to just a slip-on, so most power gains come with the full header + can, not just the can. Whether you are racing or not doesn't matter, it depends on how much more power over stock you want. Just keep in mind that bike is already sick, more power is the last thing I'd be worried about for a few years.

MORE MORE MORE....Power!!! (foams @ mouth) actually yeah the full system is the way to go, but a 1200 bucks for a full system is pretty eggspnsive....
that standard Trash Bin Silencer has to go though, there is more of them standard end cans on ebay than beanie babies,
I know some of the full systems dont come with the Exhaust valve in the pipe though, Ive disconected it in my GIX 1000 and sometimes its a little slow to start.

oh well, either way, im not gonna get a full sys unless im ready for the tracks.
also if get a full sys... im gonna need a power commander so that's another major investment.
im very happy even w/ the stock performance of my bike so im not in any rush to gain more power.

I think a carbon can would definately improve the look though.
The Yosh tri-oval would go with the bikes look nicely, you have probably seen one on a Gix 1k already. Its the can that Mat Mladin runs on his superbike. I have heard Yosh exhausts are not terribly loud which is a plus.
