To sell a 98 GS500

18,000 miles, mechanicaly runs great, cosmeticaly needs some work.

Recently put new gasket on oil pan and changed oil, New front and rear tires and new front wheal bearings

I think 1500 to 1800 is ok, but i am not sure.

Kelly Blue book lists retail for a 98 gs500 at 2005.00

I would also check the market on cycletrader.com and craigslist.org

Your price seems reasonable to me. I recently sold my Rebel. It took about 5 days, and I got a lot of jerks sending me low ball offers but I got what I wanted for it.

Good luck!

If you are looking at trading it for a new one, you might want to check out the NADA. Most dealers use that to price bikes and cars.

Seems to be a good ballpark to me...How much cosmetic work does it need, again?
