OK,
I'd like my xs400 to look good, but the problem is that Im a broke-"O Ring" student. The exhaust is pretty rusted, so Im thinkinig of enamelling it. Any suggestions for a good black+glossy enamel? Before any of you cringe, I just think maybe black exhausts look better than chrome exhausts.

I also cant think of a good colour, that will nicely offset the black exhausts (OK now Im sounding like someone from the queer-eye show)

I've never attemped anything like you want. But I have seen some hack jobs out there that look.....well, very stupid. BBQ paint is all I can think of for your exhaust. And for your other color, it's up to your personal preference. But do your research before you start painting. I may cost you more than you think.
