Any helmets made in the US anymore?

Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered and beat to death. I could not find anything via search... The last helmet I purchased was a Bell Mag (no number) back about 1980. Sold my last bike in the late '80s but have been considering getting back on 2 wheels. It seems that the Bell name is back however the helmets are "made overseas" according to their customer service folks. If there are no US helmets I guess I will have to see what foreign country has offended me least in recent years. TIA
Regards,
Ken

That said, you'll still have to buy the helmet that fits you best regardless

As long as it keeps your skull from cracking like an egg, who cares?

AGV - Italy
Shark - France
Schuberth - Germany

Z1R - South Korea
Icon - China
Bell - China
Arai - Japan

best advice would be to buy whatever helmet fits you the best

Italy is a nice non-offensive (For the most part) country and their helmets are reasonably priced and very high quality (Anything meeting Euro-standards has to be high quality)
Nolan and AGV are both good and reasonably priced brands. Nolan makes a Carbon-fiber x-lite helmet which is very nice but costs a bit more.
As was stated, tho - try before you buy !

As far as I know, the helmet I bought, AFX, is made in the USA. I am very happy with mine.

My AFX was made in China. I figure it's better than a bare head. I'm not too picky at the helmet's origin, but it's critical that it fits. You won't wear it if it's tight and gives you a head ache. If it's too loose, the wind will play havoc with its position on your head.

I have a fulmer helmet but it was cheap (130$) and pretty comfortable so I bought it, although I think it could be a tiny bit tighter as I have to make sure the chin strap is solid on or the wind can annoy me.

alot of those helemets that are on the list posted are technically "made" over seas, but the designing and R&D is done here in the US (Icon is one I know of for sure that does that)....
