how much for 98' Kawasaki Ninja 500R

hey i found a guy who is selling his bike and it only has 1500 miles on it. he asked how much im willing to spend but im not sure what price i should say. what do you guys think

Kelly Blue book has that bike listed at 2695.00, but cycletrader has several for less.

Look at cycletrader.com and your local craigslist for prices in your area. Values change from city to city and so on. What is worth 1500 here is worth more in other places like San Francisco. Your going to have to do a little research and see how other similar bikes are priced and how they compare to your bike in aesthetics and mechanial soundness.

From all the bike searching I've done recently, I'd say with that low of miles, it's worth about 2,500.

i was thinking about telling him 1500-2000 but still 2500 is good for a 98' kawasaki 500 right?
