How did you find out the weight of the 900 Classic? KAWA web site doesn't even list the weight?

its supposed to be around 50 lbs heavier than the 800.

but due to the lower seat height the 900 is supposed to have a pretty light feel to it.

Motorcycle Cruiser's 06 Buyer's Guide lists the dry weight of the 900 Classic at 516#, but that is exactly the same as the 04 Vulcan 800 Classic and doubtful.

Kawasaki Canada specs report dry wt is 253 kg which would be about 557#. That sounds more likely, about 40# heavier than the 800 and about 10# heavier than the C50 and M50 Suzuki's.

I have sat on an M50 and it felt pretty light

I sat on one at the NY show in January. Felt VERY light, my favorite of the class.

Zootech posted a review of it on another thread. the article basically said it looks like a big bike but rides like a small bike, but the engine pulls better than some 1100s. The tester had nothing but good things to say about it.
